Where in the Garden Route is Kanon?
Kanon Private Nature Reserve sits on the Cape South Coast, approximately 42 km south of Mossel Bay along the N2 highway, accessed via a scenic dirt road.
From the George Airport, the drive is around 75 km (approximately one hour).
From Cape Town, allow roughly four to four and a half hours. Kanon is positioned between the Garden Route towns of Mossel Bay to the north and Stilbaai to the South East, placing it at the quiet, unspoilt heart of the region. The closest towns are Vleesbaai and the town of Gourtiz / Gourtis.
If you are travelling from Knysna we are 140 kms south, or travelling from Plettenberg Bay – 175kms, Kanon is around two – two and a half hours along the N2.
