Directions To Kanon From the North / East (Garden Route)

The Last Stretch Dirt Road
Coming from the south (Cape Town direction), once you pass Johnsonʼs Post on the N2, look for a brown sign pointing to Kanon on your left. Turn off here to the right onto the dirt road – approximately The final stretch of road to Kanon is well maintained (subject to rains and season), it is a dirt road for roughly 7.5 kms from the tar road turn off. to the reserve gate. The road is passable by most vehicles but a higher clearance car is recommended, especially after rain.
Coming from the east (Plettenberg Bay / Knysna / George direction), travel past Mossel Bay and continue west on the N2. The turnoff with the brown Kanon sign will appear on your right, just after Johnsonʼs Post.
